Easter Basket Cupcakes
Palmer's Milk Chocolate Flavored Easter Eggs are the perfect size for these Easter basket cupcakes! Check out how we used ice cream cones to create our "baskets"!
- 1 Box Confetti Cake Mix
- Vegetable Oil
- Water as instructed by desired Cake Mix
- 1 Tube Green Icing
- 1 Tube White Icing
- 1 Box Waffle Cones
- 1 Bag Milk Chocolate Flavored
- Easter Eggs, unwrapped
- 1 Bag Pipe Cleaners
NOTE: Adult supervision required.
Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease mini muffin cup pan or line with mini baking cup liners.
In a large bowl, combine ingredients as instructed by confetti cake mix box. Beat at a low speed with electric mixer until moistened. Beat at a medium speed for 2 minutes until batter is smooth.
Fill mini muffin cups 2/3 of the way full and smooth evenly. Cut off tips of waffle cones and set aside.
Bake for 18-25 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Cool in a pan for 10 minutes and remove to cooling racks to cool completely.
Place cupcake inside waffle cone and frost each cupcake with green or white icing. Top frosted cupcake off with chocolate eggs. Cut pipe cleaner in half and insert either end into cone forming an Easter basket handle. Enjoy!
