Chocolaty Lemon Easter Cake

  • 1 Box Lemon Cake Mix
  • Eggs
  • Vegetable Oil
  • Water as instructed by desired Cake Mix
  • 1 Container Lemon Frosting
  • 1 Bag Flopsy’s Easter Mix, unwrapped
  • 1 Baby Binks, unwrapped

NOTE: Adult supervision required.


Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease round 10 inch pan.


In a large bowl, combine ingredients as instructed by lemon cake mix. Beat at a low speed with electric mixer until moistened. Beat at a medium speed for 2 minutes until batter is smooth.


Fill pan with batter and smooth out evenly. Unwrap foil from chocolate eggs and bunnies and set aside.


Bake for 30 – 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center of cake comes out clean. Cool in a pan for 10 minutes and remove to cooling racks to cool completely.


Place cake on serving dish and apply frosting; smooth until cake is covered. Apply chocolate bunnies around the entire base of the cake; sticking them to the frosting.

Apply chocolate eggs around the entire top edge of the cake creating a chocolaty circle.

Top cake off with Baby Binks in the center and enjoy!
