Classic Coin Cupcakes
Chocolaty moist cupcakes with butter cream centers are the key to any chocolate lover's heart. Top off with creamy vanilla frosting and Palmer Chocolate Coins and you've made a candy lover's dream come true!
- 1 Box Chocolate Cake Mix (Ingredient quantity may vary)
- Vegetable Oil
- 1 Container Butter Cream Filling
- 1 Container Creamy Vanilla Frosting
- 24 Palmer® Milk Chocolate Coins, unwrapped
Preheat oven at 350°F. Lightly grease muffin cup pan or line with baking cup liners.
Combine ingredients as instructed by cake mix box in a large bowl. Beat at a low speed with electric mixer until moistened. Beat at a medium speed for 2 minutes until batter is smooth.
Fill muffin cups with 2 tablespoons full of batter. Drop 1–2 teaspoons of butter cream filling in center of batter, cover filling with remainder of batter until muffin cup is ⅔ of the way full.
Bake for 18–25 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Cool in a pan for 10 minutes and remove to cooling racks to cool completely.
Frost each cupcake and top off center with a Palmer® Chocolate Golden Coin!
