Carrot & Golden Egg Chicks
These little chicks are sweet and sassy. The perfect little Easter gift for any boy or girl.
Supplies
- 1 mesh bag of Palmer® Parsnip Pete’s Bunny Treats Double Crisp® Carrots
- 2 mesh bags of Palmer® Milk Chocolate Flavored Eggs
- Printable wings and feet template (print pdf)
- 1 foam sheet in yellow and orange
- 3 large yellow pom poms
- Ribbon
- Googly eyes
- 2 flower appliques
- Glue gun & glue sticks
- Scissors
NOTE: Children should be supervised by an adult when creating this craft.
Directions
Step 1
Cut out your wings from the yellow foam sheet, and your feet and beaks from the orange foam sheet. Tighten the mesh bags so that it fits snug around the candy and hold it in place with a dab of hot glue. Allow to dry before releasing your grip. Glue the yellow pom poms to the top of each mesh bag, wings to the side and feet to the bottom.
Step 2
Now it is time to give your little chicks their personality with gluing on the googly eyes, beak, and flower. Make some small bows from the ribbon and glue right under the head of your chick. Aren’t they just the cutest little chicks!
