Supplies
* One Butterfly will need the following:
1 Clothespin (color with a marker or paint)
1 Pipe Cleaner (red, pink and purple work great)
1 Zip-Loc sandwich bag
10 R.M. Palmer foiled candy hearts (Peanut Butter, Fudge, Double Crisp and/or Milk Chocolate Flavored)
In this Craft:
Directions
- Color your clothespin with paint or a marker.
- Fill a zip-lock bag with 10 hearts all facing the same direction in the bag. You can use all the same flavor or an assortment.
- Try to get a lot of the air out of the bag and seal it closed.
- Fold over the seal a few times in order to hide the extra bag.
- Pinch the middle of the bag, separating the hearts so that there is an even amount on both sides, creating the butterfly wings.
- Using a pipe cleaner that you cut in half, twist around the pinched bag to keep it pinched. (Image A)
- Clip the clothespin over the center of the wings to create the butterfly body. (Image B)
- Curl the ends of the pipe cleaner to make the butterfly antennas.
- Repeat to make more butterflies!
