Zombie Dirt Dessert
Quick and easy Dirt Dessert is a seasonal favorite among kids and fun to decorate with Palmer® Monster Munch Mix and shortbread tombstones!
- 1 Box Chocolate Cake Mix (Ingredient quantity may vary)
- Vegetable Oil
- 1 (5.1) ounce Box Chocolate Instant Pudding
- 1 Bag Shortbread Cookies
- 1 Tube Black Icing with Tip
- 1 Bag Palmer® Monster Munch Mix, unwrapped
Preheat oven at 350°F. Grease muffin pan or line cups with baking cup liners.
Combine ingredients as instructed by chocolate cake mix in a large bowl. Beat at a low speed with electric mixer until moistened. Beat at a medium speed for 2 minutes until batter is smooth.
Fill muffin cups with batter, about ⅔ of the way full.
Bake for 18–25 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 minutes and remove to cooling racks to cool completely.
Make chocolate instant pudding as instructed by pudding box in large bowl and set aside.
Chop Palmer® Double Crisp® Monster Munny from the Monster Munch Mix to a powder-like consistency with food processor and place in bowl.
Using Black Icing, write the letters RIP on shortbread cookies and set aside to dry, about 10 minutes in refrigerator for best results.
Cut tops off cupcakes and place in the bottom of each serving cup. Add chocolate pudding as the second layer in the cup.
Top each dessert with a shortbread cookie tombstone and a Palmer® “zombie” from the Monster Munch Mix.
Sprinkle with Palmer® Monster Munny chocolaty powder.
Refrigerate overnight and enjoy!
