Trick or Treat Cupcake Parfaits

Transform ordinary cupcakes into Halloween dessert towers with this easy to follow recipe by Palmer!

  • 1 Box Chocolate Cake Mix (Ingredient quantity may vary)
  • Eggs
  • Vegetable Oil
  • Water
  • 1 Container Orange Frosting
  • 12 Palmer® Decorated Pumpkin Peanut Butter Cups, unwrapped (found in Trick or Treat Mix bag)


Preheat oven at 350°F. Lightly grease muffin cup pan or line with baking cup liners.


In a large bowl, combine ingredients as instructed by cake mix box. Beat at a low speed with electric mixer until moistened. Beat at a medium speed for 2 minutes until batter is smooth.


Fill muffin cups with batter until each muffin cup is ⅔ of the way full.


Bake for 18–25 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 minutes and remove to cooling racks to cool completely.


Cut tops off cupcakes and place bottoms in bottom of jar to line parfait. Add orange frosting as the second layer of the parfait. Repeat this process, alternating the tops and bottoms of the cupcake with layers of orange frosting until you reach the top of the jar.

Top parfait off with a Palmer® Peanut Butter Cup and Enjoy!
