This brownie layered Christmas Tree Tower not only looks festive, but makes a great centerpiece too! See recipe for details here.
- 2 Boxes Milk Chocolate Brownie Mix
- 2 Boxes Dark Chocolate Brownie Mix (Ingredient quantity may vary)
- Vegetable Oil
- 2 Containers Green Frosting
- 1 Leaf Shaped Icing Tip
- 1 Palmer® Christmas Pop, unwrapped
Preheat oven at 350°F. Lightly grease 12, 8, 4 and 2 inch round pans.
Prepare brownie mixes in two large separate bowls as instructed. Beat ingredients at a low speed with electric mixer until moistened. Beat at a medium speed for 2 minutes until batters are smooth.
Fill 12 inch round pan with milk chocolate or dark chocolate brownie mix, whichever flavor you’d prefer to be your base layer, then alternate layers until you reach the top layer.
Fill 8, 4 and 2 inch round pans with milk chocolate and dark chocolate brownie mix.
Bake for 25–35 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center of brownie comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 minutes and remove to cooling racks to cool completely. Now repeat this process again.
Place one of your 12 inch layers as the base layer onto cake stand. Cut the other 12 inch layer down to 10 inches and place on top of the 12 inch layer — alternating between milk chocolate and dark chocolate brownie layers.
Place one of the 8 inch layers on top of the 10 inch layer. Cut the other 8 inch layer down to 6 inches and place on top of the 8 inch layer.
Place one of the 4 inch layers on top of the 6 inch layer. Cut the other 4 inch layer down to 3 inches and place on top of the 4 inch layer.
Place one of the 2 inch layers on top of the 3 inch layer. Cut the other 2 inch layer down to 1.5 inches and place on top of the 2 inch layer to top off the Christmas tree brownie tower.
Once assembled, fill your decorating bag with green icing and attach your leaf decorating tip. Before applying leaves to the outer edges of the brownie layers, make sure all air bubbles are released from your decorating bag. Apply green leaves, starting with the bottom layer and working your way up, all the way around the layers.
