Double Crisp® Monster Munny Apples
Make Halloween a little sweeter with this new fall favorite recipe by Palmer!
- 6 apples, washed and dried
- 1 Candy Apple Kit with Popsicle Sticks
- 1 Container Chocolate Sprinkles
- 1 Jar of Peanuts
- 18-20 pieces of Double Crisp® Monster Munny from the Monster Munch Mix bag, unwrapped
Line a baking sheet with wax paper. Insert wooden sticks about halfway into the top of apples.
Combine ingredients as instructed by candy apple kit in a medium saucepan.
Heat mixture on high heat until candy syrup boils and starts to thicken. Stir and set aside to cool, about 10 minutes.
Dip apples in caramel until fully coated. Place them on baking sheet to cool, about 1 hour.
Crush peanuts to a granulated consistency and place in bowl.
Chop Palmer® Double Crisp® Monster Munny to a powder-like consistency with food processor and place in bowl.
Dip or sprinkle apples in crushed peanut mixture, chocolate sprinkles and top off with Palmer® Monster Munny chocolaty powder.
Allow candy to set, about 20 minutes.
